“These students were recognized for their academic excellence and commitment to making a positive impact in our school and community,” school officials said.

The ceremony was led by a group of dedicated educators, including Dr. Williams, Mrs. Evans, Dr. Cain, Mrs. D. Shade and Mrs. M. Williams. Administrators expressed gratitude to the staff for their continued commitment to developing the next generation of community leaders.

The National Junior Beta Club is the largest independent, nonprofit, educational youth organization in America. By joining the chapter at Hard Elementary, these students commit to continuing their high academic standing while participating in service projects that benefit the Bessemer area.

“We are so proud of our new Beta Club members,” administrators added. “Keep shining bright and leading the way.”
